SUSTAINABILITY

Tanglewood is a boutique music and arts festival held 2 hours North East from Melbourne in Thornton, Lake Eildon over New Years Eve, 30th December – 2nd January.

Tanglewood is working hard to have a minimal footprint compared to other events.

~ LEAVE NO TRACE ~

~ EVERYTHING THAT COMES WITH YOU LEAVES WITH YOU ~

We applaud our previous patronage for leaving the festival grounds the cleanest we have ever seen leaving any event with the majority taking their rubbish home, not only making our hard working volunteers jobs easier, but paying respect to the land that holds space for us over the new years.

We will continue to work on using less recycling more and we ask you to do your part by removing one use items from your packing and use reusable items like drink bottles, plates, cups and bowls. We will have washing facilities located in the market area.

Tanglewood is proud to acknowledge the Taungurung and Wurundjeri people as the traditional owners of the land we gather on. We pay our respects to First Nations leaders and elders, past and present, who are the keepers of history, traditions, knowledge and culture of this land. We commit to working in collaboration with traditional owners of this land in a spirit of reconciliation and partnership.
